EXECUTION OVER NOISE; OUR CNG & OPS FIELD TEST



Over the past few weeks, we made a deliberate decision at Aligo Energies Ltd. to step away from the spotlight and focus on what truly matters execution.

Our industry is demanding. Success is not measured by spreadsheets, headlines or social media visibility. It is earned through reliable deliveries, efficient logistics, disciplined operations and the confidence built with every successful transaction.

With that mindset, we got to work.

In collaboration with one of our indigenous partners and with the support of a leading CNG truck rental company, we successfully completed the aggregation and haulage of dried cassava chips for a prospective offtaker during the test run of its processing facility.

While the transaction itself was important, the experience delivered far greater value.

It established the foundation for what we believe will become a strong and enduring commercial relationship. It provided our team with firsthand operational experience in CNG-powered logistics and fleet administration. More importantly, it validated many of the assumptions, projections and strategic decisions that have shaped our business from the beginning, while offering fresh insight into the realities of the competitive landscape.


As Founder of Aligo Energies Ltd., I was directly involved throughout the exercise. There is no substitute for firsthand experience. Being on the ground provided a level of operational understanding and confidence that no financial model or projection could fully replicate.

We are sincerely grateful to Nosak Group for the opportunity to contribute to this milestone and wish the new facility every success as it begins operations.

THE PSALTRY EFFECT: WHAT SERIOUS INVESTORS MUST UNDERSTAND

In the last few months, I have engaged more than ten prospective investors. Two of them made a very interesting observation: they quickly referenced Psaltry International and rightfully so. Psaltry is a true benchmark for success in Nigeria’s cassava-processing landscape. However, there is a major gap in how some investors interpret the “Psaltry story" and it’s important to address it clearly. Both investors failed to see the intentionality behind Psaltry’s success both from the founder and the investors who funded it. One of them suggested that we should “work around $400,000.” As much as $400,000 is substantial amount of money, it cannot cover the CAPEX or OPEX required for a minimum viable, sustainable cassava-processing operation.
